It’s Time For a 2023 Rebrand and We’re Not Talking About Your Business
2023 is right around the corner, and if you’re sick of hearing about self-help, hang in there, so am I.
This year isn’t about seeking help from anyone else, because the truth is, you know exactly what you need to do.
It’s time for a rebrand. A rebrand of the self.
Chances are you are a wonderful person, but you aren’t necessarily who or what you want to be… yet.
Giving yourself a rebrand will allow you to visualize who you plan to be stepping into 2023. It’s time to create more and consume less.
Let’s start with a 2022 Self Audit
Some categories to evaluate
Mentally - How was your mindset this year? Did you speak about yourself kindly? Did you come from an abundance mindset or scarcity?
Physically - How active were you this year? Did you make time to get outside?
Spiritually - How connected to the world were you this year? If religious, did you feel connected with your spiritual power?
Financially - How do you feel financially this year? Did you spend too much money? Did you save some money? What were your money conversations overall?
Your Space - Does the space around you work for you? How did it make you feel this year? Were you connected to specific belongings? Are you content with your environment?
Relationships - How were your relationships in 2022? Were you a good partner/sibling/child/friend?
Personal Growth - Did you work on your personal development this year? Did you learn anything new?

Reflect on Your Self-Audit
How did you feel after reading your audit back?
Were any points in your life in obvious need of improvement?
Which parts were you most proud of that you want to build upon?
What opportunities did you get last year or coming up that you need to take advantage of?
Does anything you are doing now threaten who you wish to become?
Put Together Some Brand Guidelines
Like creating a good habit, the first step is writing it down. In the book, Atomic Habits, the author talks about how you are 30% more likely to do something if you write it down and almost 50% more likely if you create SMART goals to implement it.
Write down your mission statement and values.
Create a Persona
In the same way most companies will put together customer personas, physically create the person you want to be. I did this by literally naming the identity I made up. I created a Pinterest board for her and started pinning pictures of what she likes to do, how she dresses, what she eats, how she comes across to others, her work ethic, and her mindset.
Start to identify with this person. Ask yourself, what would they do at this moment?
Move Your Body Everyday
Not only does moving your body help with your physical goals, but it will also 100% help you with your mental goals.
The sheer act of engaging in exercise alone will help you keep promises to yourself and build your self-confidence.
The most important work you’ll do this year is on your mindset. Learn to let go of limiting beliefs and step into the person you’re meant to be, no matter how scary it is.
